Why I Built a Web Portfolio

I do a lot of things. Jewelry, photography, design, websites, business — and for a long time, none of it lived in one place. People would ask what I do and I'd have to explain five different things with no single link to point them to.

So I built one.

Aspirationsofaj.com is where everything comes together — an online exhibit for the creative and professional work I've been building behind the scenes. It's not a résumé site. It's not a highlight reel meant to impress. It's a real look at what I create, how I think, and where I'm headed.

As a first-generation college student studying economics and running a business at the same time, I've learned that nobody is going to build your platform for you. If you want people to see the full picture, you have to frame it yourself. That's what this site is.

This portfolio also serves as proof of what I preach through Crazy Crystal Shop — transparency. I'm not hiding behind a brand. This is me, the work, and the vision laid out in the open.
